I have a ton of respect for the older women in my life, for one they are the blueprint for what I want to be in the future and two I love a woman who can own everything that comes with age.
Women these days are embracing their gray hair, they use Instagram and Twitter to show off their fabulous looks while dropping gems from the wisdom they have gained over the years.
In this post I wanted to share with you 6 gorgeous women + one bonus that represent some of the styles I have been loving for older women. Lets go!

These locs were done by @locsbylokelo and the updo was so fabulous I actually had the picture saved in my phone. Not to mention the color of the locs! Just beautiful.
2. wash and go’s – @naturalsilversista
This lovely lady @naturalsilversista is a veteran in the natural hair community and her signature wash and go and curly cut is to die for! I love how consistent she is with her style and how healthy her curls are!
3. Fabulous updos – @cocoamane
This beautiful updo was done by my girl @cocamane and it has been shared everywhere. This is the mother of a bride and her hair was absolute perfection.
4. Cute Tapered Cuts – @hairbyamburlee
If you are thinking you are too old for a tapered cut think again. Tapered cuts are easy to care for and if you are naturally grey they look amazing!

Another shaped cut, this is a different taper but Vaughn kills it and his client looks beautiful!

This is a custom wig and this lady is not afraid to rock a little color. The two-toned wig fits her whole style and vibe, she gets 3 snaps from me.

Speaking of color, how cute is this lady? Purple hues for the win! She looks amazing and the purple grey trend isn’t going anywhere!
