Hair masks are fun, super simple, and one of the easiest ways to get the spa experience at home. You can add so many different ingredients to your mix and get something that’ll condition, heal, strengthen, moisturize, and/or soften your hair. One hair mask that is my personal go-to and fan-favorite for the younger women in my family is the avocado-banana mask.
This high protein and high-fat hair mask is great for deep conditioning and moisturizing. It’s perfect for beginners because the ingredients are safe, inexpensive, and easy to find, while the steps are easy to follow. You will need:
1 Tbsp of Olive oil
1 Tbsp Honey
½ cup of Mayonnaise
Blender or bowl and fork.
Directions for your hair mask:
Combine all ingredients into a bowl or blender. If blending, process the mixture until it’s a smoothie-like consistency. If using a bowl and fork, whisk the mixture until it’s smooth and all ingredients are properly blended together.
Add the thick mixture to dry or damp hair and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. Thoroughly wash, dry, moisturize, and seal your hair afterward.
