Prayers have been going out for legendary Al B. Sure! after his eldest son, Albert Joseph Brown IV also referred to as Al B. Sure Jr., recently revealed that the 54-year-old singer is on the road to recovery.
In a heartfelt birthday celebratory post shared to social media on Sunday (October 30), Al B. Sure Jr. thanked his followers for the many birthday wishes he received on his IG page while updating them on the current status of his own world.
According to thejasminebrand, the 36-year-old musician revealed that he is grateful but also “out of it” because his father had been hospitalized in a coma for two months. Al B. Sure Jr then went ahead and shared a series of pictures of himself alongside his “pops “and captioned the post,

Fans of the artist and record producer were utterly shocked, as most of them didn’t know the “Off On Your Own” singer was even sick. Get well soon remarks flooded the comment section, with most hoping he could get back on the radio soon.
“I was today years old when I found out he had another child and a jr at that …. prayers up,” one social media user wrote.
“I’m happy he’s okay. Hope he gets back on the radio soon! Ole boy that replaced him on the radio is whack sauce!!!” another fan added, referring to his gig as host of “Love and R&B with Al B. Sure!” on Majic 102.3 – 92.7.
“Wait a damn minute! And I’ve been listening to Sexy Versus for the last two days out of the blue and had no idea. Crazy! Prayers up for,” a third person penned.
Earlier this year, the Nite and Day artist born Albert Brown III, was hospitalized and scheduled to undergo surgery. Al B. Sure has disclosed what the surgery was for, but he has been updating his avid fans on his continued progress through his IG account.
In fact, one of Al B. Sure’s most recent posts appears to have been posted while he was at the hospital. In the caption, the Ooh This Love Is, So singer shared his gratitude for everyone sending him well wishes while recognizing the hard work medical experts exert on a day-to-day basis The singer/songwriter wrote,
