Amber Rose is facing a ton of backlash because she openly endorsed Trump.
On Monday (May 20), the model and reality star shared a photo posing with former POTUS Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, at a political party.
Captioning the post “Trump 2024,” Rose soon received much backlash.
The Shade Room reposted the photo, where 40-year-old Slut Walk founder made her stance very clear.
“Lmaooo y’all think Biden cares about black ppl??? Sad. Do your research,” she wrote. “I did. I’ll always put women first. Y’all want biological men in women’s sports. Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed, cuz WE’RE ppl of color. Make your own decisions.”
People did not take too kindly to her comment.
“WE? Girl you don’t even like being called a black woman… Don’t speak for US abt to piss me off,” one person wrote, as another commented, “She was an advocate to stop Sl*t shaming. And Ironically picks the man that dragged stormy daniels name [through] the mud ..lost a multi million dollar suit against Carrol. The same man who said ‘grab her by the p’ but ok Amber … sure he’s aligned. sure”
A third person said,
“I used to like her but every since she got that tattoo on her forehead and that last BD cheated on her and left for that old lady she hasn’t been right, and I’m not team Biden either but to stand for the man who proudly makes laws on women’s bodies and is ok with kids in cages and had this country so racially divided you can’t possibly be for real.”
According to Vibe Amber Rose is not the only person in ‘HipHop’ who has shown support for Trump.
Ice Cube recently asserted that he doesn’t think that his or anyone else’s celebrity status will influence votes this presidential election year.
While appearing on Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria last week, Cube talked politics, his Big 3 basketball league, and more.
During the interview, he was asked if he has felt a shift in the Black community as rappers and celebrities have endorsed Trump over the years.
In response, the multi-hyphenate artist said he believes it’s a “personal decision” who people vote for.
“You know, people gonna make a decision on who they want to be president,” he began. “You know, I think it’s a personal decision. I don’t know if they care if any rappers or entertainers get up there and say anything. It’s really a personal decision.”
Speaking to the mixed reviews that both Trump and Biden have received during their respective terms, he added,
“People know who Trump is. People know who Biden is. They gon’ make their decision no matter who gets up there and pushes whatever decision they on. The country knows both of these guys very well. I just think it’s gonna come down to a personal decision.”
Sexyy Red revealed she supports Donald Trump:
“I like Trump,” she began. “Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first I don’t think people was f**king with him. They thought he was racist, saying little sh*t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money.”
“Awe, baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office. We need him back, because, baby, them checks. Ooh yes, them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you. I love Trump, he funny to me. I used to watch him talking to people. He used to be calling people fat. He just bold. He funny. We need people like him,” she continued.
(Fact check: The Stimulus checks had nothing to do with Trump)
Amber Rose engaging in disinformation that Donald Trump is better on abortion than Biden is naaaaasty work! I'd rather be responding to politicians than dumb btiches with platforms but I guess I'll have to find time to dismantle her BS. pic.twitter.com/2NmeaBKUn9
