On August 26, Ludacris visited Alaska for a show.
During the rapper’s stay, he visited an ancient glacier and drank its clear waters.

But, according to Vibe, fans didn’t like Luda’s choice.
They dropped comments like:
“Be careful with glacier water! Even though it looks fresh and clean, it’s often full of bacteria, parasites, and viruses… Microorganisms you definitely don’t want in your system.. It can make you extremely sick. Make sure to boil it first to stay safe!”
And:
“I thought you were not supposed to do this ? I saw somewhere you can get super sick.”
O’Shea Jackson Jr. also responded to the post with a TikTok from a man who sipped glacial water and got sick for two weeks.
He wrote:
“How long ago did he shoot this and have we been monitoring him?”
You’re literally drinking trapped viruses. This is exactly how pandemics start.

People are worried about fresh, clean, glacier water like their city water full of chemicals isn’t actively poisoning them.

Ludacris Doesn’t Want Anyone To Be Worried
I see some of you asking about the glacier water ???? from my previous post pic.twitter.com/5WjeyeU1F3

Ludacris responded with a video, saying:
“For everybody asking me how that glacier water really tasted, when I tell y’all I am a water snob, it was the best tasting water I’ve ever had in my life.”
He added:
“As I drank it, I felt like every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same damn time.”
Luda added that after the sip, he felt like Superman and had the most incredible show.
However, the U.S. National Parks Service website doesn’t advise drinking “water from a natural source that you haven’t purified, even if the water looks clean.”
It adds that:
“Although the water may look clean it can still be filled with bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can result in waterborne diseases, such as cryptosporidiosis or giardiasis.”
