Okay ladies, let’s get in Formation!

Students are about to get in their paper up because Beyonce is giving back in a major way! In honor of the one-year anniversary of ‘Formation,’ Beyoncé recently announced a new scholarship program for young women.

The “Formation Scholars” program was designed to “encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious, and confident,”

They decided that the scholars will be chosen from four different schools: Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design, and Spelman College.

“Four scholarships will be awarded, one per college, to female incoming, current, or graduate students pursuing studies in the creative arts, music, literature, or African-American studies,” reads the statement.

The announcement was made on Beyonce.com but they have not released the scholarship amounts just yet.
