Bill Cosby, the once-beloved comedian, is facing yet another sexual assault lawsuit.
This time, it’s filed by former Playboy model Victoria Valentino, who claims Cosby drugged and raped her in 1969.
Valentino, now 80, filed the case in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
She took advantage of a new law temporarily lifting the statute of limitations for civil cases related to sexual assault.
This law, however, expires at the end of this year, so it’s now or never for those seeking justice from past decades.
Bill Cosby’s Accuser Claims His Assault Affects Her And Her Grandkids
“The trauma he inflicted upon me affects not only me, but my children and grandchildren. By breaking my silence and speaking my truth, I hope this serves as my legacy to my family, and shows those survivors who have yet to find their voices, that hope and healing are possible.”
Bill Cosby, now 85, was convicted in 2018 for sexually assaulting former Temple University basketball coach Andrea Constand in 2004.
According to The Inquirer, the comedian was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison but got released after nearly three years behind bars.
Valentino’s lawsuit seeks justice through damages.
She is suing Bill Cosby for sexual assault and battery, with the suit requesting unspecified general, special, and punitive damages, as well as attorneys’ fees and court costs.

But she doesn’t stop at Cosby; Valentino has accused up to 20 other unnamed assailants.
Bill Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, unsurprisingly dismissed Valentino’s allegations.
He claimed she has gone from one town to another, promoting her claims without any proof.
Wyatt also criticized California’s “lookback window laws” as a products of politicians seeking popularity instead of justice.
According to Valentino’s lawsuit, she met Cosby in 1969 during an audition, where Valentino shared the heart-wrenching news of her young son’s recent drowning.
They met again at a Los Angeles café, and Cosby allegedly offered to treat Valentino and her friend to a relaxing day at a Finnish spa.
He summoned a chauffeur, and the three went to a Los Angeles steakhouse.
Bill Cosby allegedly gave the women pills that he promised would make them feel better.
However, Valentino felt nauseated and struggled to stay awake.

Cosby drove them to an office, and Valentino and her friend later woke up on a couch, disoriented and violated.
According to the lawsuit, Cosby proceeded to rape Valentino and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
“For decades, Mr. Cosby played the roles of both Jekyll and Hyde — Jekyll as a gentleman and Hyde as a predator masquerading as a gentleman in plain sight. He has left an immeasurable trail of pain, trauma and suffering in his wake, but today we are holding him accountable for his actions.” Valentino’s attorney, Jeff Anderson
Valentino drew inspiration from recent events, particularly the New York civil case where former President Donald Trump was found liable for sexually abusing journalist E. Jean Carroll in 1996.
The outcome of that case gave Valentino the affirmation she needed to pursue justice.
Bill Cosby’s legal battles seem never-ending, and it appears the justice system has a score to settle.
