A pint-sized hero from St. Louis, Missouri, is proving that age has nothing to do with making a big impact.
Meet Paris Williams, a remarkable 9-year-old who is teaching us all a lesson in compassion.
It all started when Paris, still a kindergarten whiz, stumbled upon the book “One Boy’s Magic” by Cari Chadwick Deal.
The story struck a chord with Paris as she witnessed the protagonist using his superpower to help others.
Inspired by this tale, the girl approached her parents with an audacious idea—to make a difference and bring about change.
With her plan carefully mapped out, Paris wasted no time.
“She had it all mapped out,” her mother, Alicia Suber, revealed.
“She was like she wants to get brown (paper) bags from the store and decorate them with positive messages. She wants to fill them with these types of items, and she wants to give them out to the homeless in the area.”
The 9-Year-Old Is Doing Good For St. Louis
And so, the Paris Cares Foundation was born.
Over the past four years, this pint-sized powerhouse and her non-profit organization have delivered a staggering 10,000 brown paper bag meals to local shelters and the homeless population in downtown St. Louis.
Talk about an impressive achievement!
But it doesn’t stop there.
Paris understood that words alone can only do so much.
That’s why she takes the extra step of personally doodling pictures on each bag.
“I draw the pictures on the bags because, for instance, if I told them they were special, sure that makes them happy and all, but if I drew a picture on the bag, (then) whenever they’re feeling sad or something like that, they get to open it and read the message on it.”
Donations have poured in from all corners.

People drop off items, contribute money, and even Paris’s friends, relatives, and neighbors have helped.
In fact, supporters from all over the country have been buying Paris Cares Foundation T-shirts, showing their unwavering support for this incredible young lady.
Recently, this miniature marvel celebrated her transition into second grade in a truly selfless manner.
Instead of craving gifts for herself, Paris requested that friends and family donate to her foundation.
Talk about a birthday wish that truly makes a difference!
Not to mention, she’s been making waves on popular platforms like Good Morning America, iHeart Radio, and even the American Girl website, spreading the word about her mission.

Paris has grand plans for the future.
“I really want the foundation to reach other places outside of St. Louis because I know I’m helping people in St. Louis, but what about the people who live outside of St. Louis? I’m hoping we can find a way to expand it to more places.”
Watch out world, because Paris Williams is here to show us that superheroes come in all sizes.
With her determination, kindness, and a heart full of empathy, this 9-year-old is lighting up the world, one decorated brown paper bag at a time.
