This year I am very much into Afrocentric natural school supplies for the kids so when I find a business that has cute stuff that our kids can relate to and take to school I am all over it.

One of my dear followers sent me a link to some of the cutest backpacks for a naturalista headed back school ever. There are a ton to choose from with limited quantities but the art is too cute for you not to cop one real quick for that tween or teenager in your life.

The company name is Napp2reality and the artist and CEO is Nancy C Scaife-Mullens:

Courageous, talented, and driven are just a few words that attempt to describe the brilliance of the multi-faceted woman, Nancy Coretta Scaife-Mullens. Nancy is a phenomenal artist, wife, mother, and visionary. This creative artist and innovator has become the CEO of the new company, Artistic Rootz. However, her incredible journey began long ago.

Nancy Scaife-Mullens was born September 19, 1982 in Forrest City, Arkansas with innate artistic abilities. As a child, Nancy developed a passion for art. Her mother often found paper all around the house with Nancy’s unbelievable drawings on them. This impeccable talent was quickly spotted by those around her including a kindergarten teacher. The teacher immediately noticed Nancy’s amazing talent, and without hesitation spoke prophetically about Nancy’s gift: She would become a famous artist one day.

In 2007, Nancy’s work became recognized by many moguls in the beauty industry. She obtained her first position within the beauty industry, working towards the creation of a unique magazine.

Nancy is definitely talented check out some of my favorite backpacks:

  1. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.

  2. Again rocking the natural hair, actresses opt to give their hair a break and keep things how God intended at times. Using an anti-frizz product, this look was achieved simply by smoothing hair and pinning half of it back on one side with a hair pin.

  3. Wow that was strange. I just wrote an very long comment
but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up.
Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to say superb blog!
