After 27 years, the duo behind the iconic 1998 anthem “The Boy Is Mine” Brandy and Monica are bringing that energy live to a stage near you.
The co-headlining tour launches this fall, and trust me, fans are ready to relive that ’90s magic with a modern twist.
Starting October 16 in Cincinnati, the 24-city arena run will hit major hubs like Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta. The Atlanta stop, on October 31, is a homecoming moment for Monica and promises to be especially emotional.
This tour isn’t just nostalgia—it features an all-star backing lineup. Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and 2025 American Idol winner Jamal Roberts will be along for the ride, keeping the vibes fresh and dynamic.
Brandy shared:
“This really is a full‑circle moment… it’s bigger than a reunion—it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one.” Monica echoed that energy, calling their partnership a “musical marriage.”
It all traces back to 1998, when “The Boy Is Mine” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a record‑breaking 13 weeks and won a Grammy. Despite rumored tensions and a sudden VMA performance mishap that year, the two did eventually reconcile—remixing the song for Ariana Grande in 2024 and even doing a surprise Verzuz in 2021.
