Brittany Renner has shared some insights into the changes she’s experienced following her lifestyle shift and conversion to Islam.
In a recent heartfelt video, the former model revealed that her financial situation has significantly declined since she stopped sharing provocative content.
According to Vibe she said:
“I’ve gone through a lot of changes internally and as a result, my outer world has completely crumbled,” Renner explained as she began laughing. She expressed how things have left her feeling “incredibly uncertain about every area in [her] life” and she currently doesn’t know where she’ll live or how she’ll provide for her son.
The 32-year-old welcomed a son with 26-year-old Dallas Mavericks center P.J. Washington in 2021. In 2023, Renner praised Washington in a conversation with Jason Lee, saying:
“I have said, he is a good person. He is a good father [but] he was not a good partner to me, and I’m allowed to say that […] That wasn’t my husband and that’s okay ‘cause he still was a catalyst for my growth.”
Fast-forward to present day, Renner likened herself to Alice In Wonderland — recalling how Alice ate the cookie and her body grew too big for her house.
“I’ve outgrown where I am,” she continued. “The facade is fading, Alhamdulillah, and I’m at a place where I don’t want anything that doesn’t have my name on it.”
Renner emphasized:
“Take it away. It serves no purpose here and I don’t want a penny more than I’m meant to have, because I can do a lot with a little […] and when the facade fades and the BS is cleared out, it makes room for what has always been for you.”
In the video, she didn’t discuss her child support agreement with Washington, but previously dispelled rumors that he was giving her $200,000 monthly and clarified that it was only $2,500. Fans began noticing her lifestyle change earlier this summer.
