A New York mom is now in jail after stashing her cocaine inside of her baby’s diaper bag. The police did a traffic stop of a 2008 Dodge Charger driven by Bronx resident 33-year-old Shante Pleasant on Tuesday.
During the stop, they found that the woman did not have a valid driver’s license and they checked her car before it was towed.
During that search, they discovered 25 ounces of cocaine inside her 7-month old daughter’s diaper bag who was also present at the scene.
In addition to the baby girl, the young mom had her 13 year old daughter also in the vehicle.

State Police say they recovered just over 25 ounces of cocaine they say was hidden in the diaper bag belonging to a Bronx woman.
Investigators say, just before noon on Tuesday, Trooper stopped 33 year old Shante Pleasant on I-87 in the town of Coxsackie. Troopers say she did not have a valid driver license.
Pleasant was found to have 25.3 ounces of cocaine stored in a diaper bag. She was also traveling with her 13-year-old and 7-month-old daughters.
Pleasant was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
