The NYPD has officially named Frank James as a suspect, in the Brooklyn Subway Shooting. According to TMZ, his YouTube page has been studied over the past 24 hours and he as a disturbing history of YouTube videos with radical views … which foreshadow violence.
The content found has been troubling, to say the least … with several videos that tout extremist rhetoric and out-there stances on topics like race, COVID, crime and politics.
In one such clip, labeled “STOP ONE COMPLETE,” James says “you oughta die,” among other alarming quotes.
To be frank, a lot of his rants don’t make much sense — but he seems quite agitated by the state of affairs in 2022 … and he invokes violent language to talk about much of it.
There’s also one very scary video that shows James inside of a subway car — where he’s filming people and the goings-on.
The clip seems to be pre-2020, and it’s labeled “THE GOOD OLE DAYS.”
His videos don’t have too many views and he has few to no subscribers … so he was definitely talking into a void of sorts.
And yet, they’re being widely circulated now as cops look for this man.
According to CBS2 Police say the suspect got on the train at the Kings Highway Station on Tuesday morning.
When the train was stopped in the tunnel between the 59th and 36th Street stations, he attacked — shooting 10 people and injuring 13 more when he allegedly set of smoke bombs, while wearing a gas mask.
It was sheer terror for riders who ran for their lives through the smoke and away from gunfire.
Police say the gunman left behind a bag with a hatchet, two gas canisters, and a single automatic handgun that apparently jammed, perhaps saving lives.
Sources tell CBS2 it could have been worse, because the gun jammed with bullets still inside, and officers found a bag with an arsenal of other weapons.
While the suspect unloaded 33 shots and smoke bombs, police say not a single victim is described as having life-threatening injuries. Doctors say many treated at local hospitals have already been released.
A manhunt is still underway.
