Cardi B’s got no time for the drama.
The Bongos rapper, who’s expecting her third child with rapper Offset, shared pictures on Instagram Sunday (September 1st) of her bare baby bump while sitting on a motorcycle in front of the shutters of a store in New York City.
The shutters featured graffiti that read “pedophile” written over the word “homesick,” which caused some fans to assume the soon-to-be mum was firing shots at her rap arc nemesis Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty.
Petty became a registered sex offender after his conviction for attempted first-degree rape in April 1995, involving the assault of 16-year-old Jennifer Hough.
“Lol, wait, why there’s Pedophile written on the wall??……is this a Nicki shade?” one fan asked.
“Cardi B seems to be taunting Nicki Minaj’s family by taking photos in front of graffiti that reads ‘pedophile,’” another wrote.
Cardi B swiftly nipped the rumors in the bud, taking to her official X account to set the record straight.

The award-winning emcee has since deleted the photos, but that didn’t stop some from speculating that the graffiti was a deliberate choice rather than an unfortunate blunder from a rushed photo shoot.

Cardi and Nicki have beef dating back to 2017.
At the time, rap group Migos added the “Enough” singer as a collaborator on their single “Motorsport” without first consulting Nicki, even though the Barbie World emcee was already set to appear on the track.
Their feud intensified when they got into a physical brawl at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Fashion Week party in New York City in September 2018. Social media footage at the time captured Cardi shouting insults, throwing her shoe at Minaj, and leaving the party barefoot with a bump on her forehead.
Then, last September, Nicki’s husband Petty was put on 120 days of house arrest for threatening Cardi’s estranged husband Offset.
