Carlee Russell’s boyfriend, Thomar Latrell Simmons spoke out soon after Carlee was ‘found’ thanking the Lord and everyone who helped search for his girlfriend.
Now that Carlee’s story has been proven false, Thomar has removed all traces of her from his Instagram including all of the pictures he shared when he spoke out about her disappearance.
A few days ago he wrote:
I don’t even know how to start off this post but to only say thank you to my lord & savior Jesus Christ for saving my girlfriend’s life! Also, thank you to everyone who shared a picture, came out to the Hoover Met to help us with the search parties, & who went & proceeded to tell other people about Carlee to bring more awareness to her story. I have been going nonstop since I received the call that she was missing on Thursday night. I know she would’ve done the same for me, so I wasn’t going to give up until I saw her face again!

Who Is Carlee Russell’s Boyfriend, Thomar Latrell Simmons?
According to Yahoo Thomar is a native of Hoover, Alabama.
He is a first-generation graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as he revealed in a December 2022 Instagram post.
“Let your dreams be bigger than your fears, your actions louder than your words, and your faith stronger than your feelings,” Thomar captioned a photo in his graduation gown.
People suspected Thomar was involved in her disappearance?
While not much is known about Carlee and Thomar’s relationship, some people following the case speculated that Thomar may have been involved in her disappearance.
He denied the allegations in the now deleted lengthy Instagram post after her return home on July 15th.
If you let Twitter tell the story, he was possibly her motivation for the hoax to begin with, that is ofcourse all speculation.
