Rick Ross’ex-girlfriend Cristina Mackey believes her relationship with Rozay was guided by a higher power.
During a recent Instagram Live, Mackey, who briefly dated Ross before calling it quits in February this year, opened up about her relationship with the 48-year-old rapper and how she believes it was divinely orchestrated.
“I just feel like God was like, ‘Hey, I need you to date this person real quick so I can get you where you need to go. You need to be in Miami,’” the singer and influencer stated, implying that her alleged divine experience with God cast this relationship as a catalyst, pushing her a step closer to Miami.
“Have you been to Miami? This place is incredible to me. You need to be in this city,” Mackey added. “My mom said the same thing too. She was like, ‘God brought you here for me. Be closer to me.”
“He [God] did not bring you here and be in a relationship with that man [Rick Ross],” she continued. “But if that was the passage or what do you call it? The route that God chose.”

Mackey and Ross started dating December 2023 but confirmed their split shortly after in March 2021 after he was spotted with another woman at a Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons game.
“I’ve never experienced ‘getting left.’ I’m just not docile. I don’t feel played; the sales on mackeybody.com are thriving and I’m grateful,” she said at the time.
“The situation was beautiful, and I meant every word during our amazing six-month run. If others are upset about my joy/pride in the moment, that’s their stress to bear.”
She added, “We had a clean break two weeks ago and I never pretended to be the last. I embrace both negative and positive traction with love. And no, I won’t be appearing on anybody’s podcast.”
