CNN is clearing up Don’s Tweet amidst the news that he was let go from the network without so much as a meeting with his management team.
Don said he was informed by his agent that he was terminated by CNN and he was ‘stunned’.
He called them out saying that after 17 years at CNN, he would have thought someone from management would have ‘the decency’ to tell him directly.
He ended his note saying that there must have been something larger at play and wished his colleagues and journalists in the business the best.
