Cynthia Bailey is head over heels in love.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently revealed to US Weekly that she’s been dating a younger man for the past eight months—and she couldn’t be happier.
“I’m very much in love,” Bailey shared over the weekend at the Bravo Fan Fest in Miami. “You know, dating is really not easy, especially at this point in my life.”
At 57, the media personality and podcaster has fully embraced her “woman of a certain age” status but said that hasn’t stopped her from finding joy in love.
“I am, you know, a little up there, [a] woman of a certain age,” she continued. “But I will say that I just said to God, send me my person. I didn’t give him a list or anything, and Amsterdam showed up, and it’s been almost eight months now, and I’m really happy.”
Bailey revealed she met her mystery man “for the first time at an event in Los Angeles,” but they “didn’t talk” until he slid “into my DMs a couple of days later, and it worked.”
“The Stepmother” actress noted that the couple is really not on social media but that RHOA fans might be able to catch a glimpse of him on the show.
Bailey is set to return to TV screens as a “friend” on the upcoming season of the Bravo hit show.
“You do see some snippets of him,” she shared. “Like, we FaceTime a lot. And every time we would FaceTime, the cameras would be zooming in, so you might get a little sneak peek.”
“He doesn’t even watch the show. He has no idea what’s happening,” she joked.
During a panel later in the night, Bailey continued raving about her new beau saying, “I’m dating an amazing young guy from Amsterdam. I wasn’t looking for a young guy. He found me.”
Bailey hasn’t been in a serious relationship since finalizing her divorce from Mike Hill in December 2022. The pair wed in October 2022 in front of Bravo cameras. She was previously married to Peter Thomas from 2010 to 2017.
