Yes, you read that right!
Before Kirk Frost—the same one from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta—met and married Rasheeda Buckner, he was out here trying to win over Da Brat.
In an interview with Dish Nation, the rapper-turned-actress spilled some major vintage tea, revealing that Frost made a serious play for her back in the day and damn near succeeded.
FYI, this was all pre-Rasheeda, so don’t go wild on Da Brat’s pages. But apparently, this was a real, for real situation.
When host HeadKrack asked Da Brat about the most interesting thing someone ever asked her to do on a first date, she revealed, “Kirk Frost! Rasheeda’s husband. Before they were married, when I first met him, he wrote his name and number on 20 $100 bills and begged me to call him.”
“Okay, not begged me, but he asked me to call him,” she continued. “And wrote his name and number on the front and back of each one.”
Da Brat also revealed that the TV personality also copped her a brand-new whip.
I got a Lincoln Navigator, and I got quite a few things from the situation—not on the first date but throughout the course of a little while.”
When asked if she was marveled by his boldness, Da Brat admitted she was. But while co-host Porsha Williams said she would have been in an Uber rushing towards Frost after giving her the $20,000 gift, Da Brat said she didn’t want to look too eager, so she held off just a little bit before reaching out.
“The next day,” she said. “I didn’t want to seem desperate, but I did call the next day.”

Now, the two didn’t last, and most people think she dodged a bullet, but we definitely know Da Brat rolled out in that Lincoln like a G.
“She dodged a problem,” Instagram user @jatinamasson wrote.
“Ain’t no way Brat would take the shit Rasheeda takes from him,” @tenisha.robinson.77 added.
Another chimed in with some messy commentary. “Kirk really like beautiful studs Rasheeda included.”
“Da Brat said why choose when you can have both!! I kno that’s fn right,” @qweenpin_official_brandilic commented.
User @stephanie.daughter had a message for Miss Porsha Williams: “Porsha that’s why you not kept…for the streets/highest bidder can get her.”
Another thought Da Brat should’ve remained mum about it. “I don’t think she should of spoke on that at all,” user @leos_doitbettaa wrote.
