In an exclusive with Page six, Diddy seemingly confirms that Will Smith and Chris Rock settled their differences at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
They report: Sean “Diddy” Combs confirmed at the Vanity Fair Oscars bash Sunday night that the duo let bygones be bygones after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head during the awards ceremony.
“That’s not a problem. That’s over.
I can confirm that” Diddy, 52, told us of the beef without elaborating on further details of how Smith, 53, and Rock, 57, had reconciled.
“It’s all love,” he added. “They’re brothers.”
Hours before the olive branch, a source told Page Six exclusively that the duo had arranged to work out their issues after the Academy Awards — during which the “King Richard” star apologized to everyone except Rock while accepting his Best Actor award.
“I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all of my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment, and I’m not crying for winning an award,” Smith said. “It’s not about winning an award for me; it’s about being able to shine a light on all of the people.”
Following the wild awards show, Smith attended the Vanity Fair bash with his family and danced the night away, clearly unfazed by the drama that ensued hours earlier.
The former “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star was seen dancing and rapping along to his ’90s hits “Summertime,” “Miami” and “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It.”
“Red Table Talk” co-host Pinkett Smith, 50, was by Smith’s side moving and grooving with their kids, Jaden, 23, and Willow, 21.
The thing is, even with reconciliation, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has strict guidelines in its code of conduct.
Sources are saying Will Smith may be asked to return the award because his actions could be considered ‘assault’.
According to the NY Post – One highly placed Hollywood source told The Post after the incident: “It’s basically assault. Everyone was just so shocked in the room, it was so uncomfortable.”
“I think Will would not want to give his Oscar back, but who knows what will happen now,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, the Academy cryptically announced from its official Twitter account: “The Academy does not condone violence of any form. Tonight we are delighted to celebrate our 94th Academy Awards winners, who deserve this moment of recognition from their peers and movie lovers around the world.”

“Knocked Up” director Apatow was highly critical of Smith in a now-deleted tweet: “He could have killed him.
That’s pure out of control rage and violence.
They’ve heard a million jokes about them in the last three decades.
They are not freshmen in the world of Hollywood and comedy.
He lost his mind.”
