Over the past few years, Diddy, the rapper-turned-entrepreneur, has centered his brand around Black excellence.
This ethos embodies achievements spanning art, education, entertainment, and business.
The rap mogul has pushed this philosophy forward with his newest project, Empower Global.

Empower Global is an online platform for Black-owned businesses.
Its goal is to showcase these enterprises, widen their exposure, and simplify their product discovery for potential customers.
According to Uproxx, the platform already hosts over 70 brands and showcases more than 1000 items.
Empower Global plans to integrate new Black-owned businesses each month and to reach a target of 200 brands by 2024.
Diddy was ecstatic about the platform.
“My mission has always been to empower Black entrepreneurs and create more opportunities for them to access the resources, tools and support needed to build successful businesses. Empower Global will uplift Black entrepreneurs, keep dollars circulating in our community, and make buying Black a lifestyle.”
Diddy isn’t a stranger to the trials young Black enterprises often encounter.
He is currently entangled in a legal disagreement with Diageo PLC spirits company over its purported mishandling of his Ciroc and DeLeon beverage brands.
