According to NBC affiliate News4sa – A man from Pensacola, Florida was arrested Monday after he used a dating app to meet up with and sexually assault a pregnant woman, according to an arrest report.
Authorities said Deandre Pritchett, 30, is charged with sexual assault after a report stated he forced himself onto a woman he had just met after texting for about a week on the app “Tagged.”
Pritchett, who went by the name “Ghost” on the app, met up with the woman after she told him that she had purchased a hotel room for them, according to the report.
The arrest report noted the two were speaking to each other on a bed, where Pritchett then began to force himself on the woman.
The woman then pushed Pritchett off her, and told him that she did not want to engage in sexual activities, the report stated.
The woman contacted EMS in fear because she was 11 weeks pregnant and bleeding from a lower part of her body, according to the report.
Deputies then responded and attempted to find Pritchett, who had since left the scene.
Deputies viewed surveillance video of Pritchett, as well as photos from his “Tagged” profile.
Deputies eventually found Pritchett and he was arrested and booked into Escambia County Jail.
