Today on “a match made in fashion heaven,” Target partnered with celebrity stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.
Together, they launched the second phase of Target’s Future Collective collection.
Putting Respect On Gabriella Karefa-Johnson’s Name

The celebrity stylist, and Vogue Magazine’s global fashion editor, did not hesitate when Target approached her.
She only pursues projects that relate to her and her story and honor her origins, and that’s what Target offered.
This is Karefa-Johnson’s second team-up, but it dwarfs her earlier one.
Target didn’t just pick an ordinary stylist.
Karefa-Johnson has worked with famous stars like Florence Pugh and Bella and Gigi Hadid.
Her passion shows through her work, and the stylist also finds joy in daily dressing.
Putting Joy In Fashion

To Karefa-Johnson, dressing up should be the happiest part of your day, regardless of body size.
To ensure everyone has fun dressing up, the stylist has made her Future Collective line size-inclusive.
She also wanted to minimize the intimidation many women feel around fashion by letting them go beyond their comfort zones and still feel comfortable.
This Collection Is Massive
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson’s line is massive, with nearly 100 items in sizes from XXS to 4X.
The collection includes:
- Layering pieces
- Light outerwear
- Transitional dresses
- Trousers and skirts
Her pieces also don’t break the bank with prices between $10 and $50–her inclusivity stretches to budget.
Besides inclusivity, the stylist has embraced color to add to the feeling of joy in her collection.
The collection is also heavy on denim, which she is fond of and features prominently.
Style-wise, Future Collective follows current trends like Wednesday’s black dress but is mainly inspired by 90s attire, from goth to skater inspirations.
The first seasonal refresh came out on January 29 in select Target stores and on the official website.
With various options, you can use the collection to craft your new wardrobe.
