Gayle King is keeping it really classy when it comes to her response to Megan Thee Stallion.
In case you missed it, Megan recently released her documentary titled Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, which walks her fans through her healing journey after the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting.
In a viral clip from the documentary, the “WAP” rapper admits to lying to Gayle about having an intimate relationship with Lanez.
“Yes, bi**h. I lied to Gayle King, b***h,” Megan says in the documentary “First of all, I ain’t know that b***h was even finna ask me about that s–t. I thought we was gonna talk about this shooting.”
Like, “Why is you asking me about f–king Tory?” she c” she continued. “That’s not what this is about. Even if I was … I f–ked that n–a like once, maybe twice on a drunk night. You kept catching me out of my f–king mind.”
Gayle has now responded and expressed that she’s not upset with Megan but rather, has nothing but “great, great love and respect” for the Houston native.
“Hey, I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, and people are reaching out to me saying, ‘Hey Gayle, Megan Thee Stallion just called you a bi**h,’” the CBS journalist shared via a clip posted to Instagram.
“Well, I know you’re expecting me, or maybe you’re thinking I have something negative to say. I do not,” she continued.
“I have nothing but great, great love and respect for Megan Thee Stallion, and cheering her on always,” Gayle added before opening up the discussion to the upcoming Presidential election.
