When Rick Ross performed in Canada on June 30, he played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which take shots at Drake.
According to HipHopDX, that was the wrong move.
After coming off-stage–while the diss track was still playing–several men confronted Ross, livid that he dared play the song on Canadian soil.
There was a heated exchange of words before one of the men punched Ross.
This immediately led to a brawl which lasted several minutes.
Ross’ entourage were the losers of the fight as they were beaten up and on the floor–one of them was unconscious and had to be carried off.
However, Ross himself avoided the fight after the first punch.

The incident with Rick Ross comes soon after Toronto rapper Top5 threatened The Weeknd with violence.
The rapper, a murder suspect, wrote:
“All these n-ggas are mad at one I dare you n-ggas to come to the 6ix #noflyzone.”
Top5 then shared a photo of The Weeknd and wrote:
“@theweeknd you started doing coke now your from Compton? Wait till my GGs see you.”
Meanwhile, Rick Ross has had beef with Drake since April when he released the diss track “Champagne Moments.”
Ross took shots at Drake in the song, like:
“You ain’t never want to be a n-gga anyway, n-gga. That’s why you had an operation to make your nose smaller than your father nose, n-gga.”
And:
“Yeah, you had that surgery, that six-pack gone. That’s why you wearin’ that funny shit at your show, you can’t hide it, n-gga.”
Ross also revealed that he and Drizzy fell out because of a cease-and-desist the Canadian rapper sent to French Montana.
“I unfollowed you, n-gga, ’cause you sent the motherfuckin’ cease-and-desist to French Montana, n-gga. You sent the police, n-gga, hated on my dog project. That wasn’t the same white boy that I seen, n-gga, when we were makin’ them early records, n-gga.”

It’s now personal, it’s now safe to say that now Drake will also be looking over his back too

The thing is that it’s not the whole of Canada that supports Drake, it is his ovo team. That’s why Not like us is number 3 in Canada and it is also why the Weekend is the most streamed artist there
