After taking a break offline, Halle Bailey has acknowledged she may have “overreacted” to her ex, DDG, bringing their infant son, Halo, onto Kai Cenat’s livestream without her approval.
In a tweet dated Thursday (November 7), the “Angel” singer wrote:
“Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing.”
Bailey then reassured her fans that Halo was safe with DDG and expressed gratitude to Kai for the gifts.
The tweet comes after Bailey deactivated her social media accounts following backlash from fans who criticized her for calling out her baby daddy publicly.

Bailey voiced her concerns after discovering her son’s appearance on Kai Cenat’s livestream while she was out of town, unable to approve it beforehand.
“Hi everyone. just so you know I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight,” the songstress wrote in a since-deleted post on Wednesday (Nov 6).
“I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified especially when I am out of town.”
In a follow-up post, she added, “As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
While DDG has not publicly addressed the situation, shortly after Bailey’s social media deactivation, the rapper shared a photo of him with Halo, along with images of the gifts Kai had given their son.
