Halle Bailey is not happy that her son was on a livestream with Kai Cenat and his father DDG.
In a new tweet, the Little Mermaid star said:
“[H]i everyone. just so you know I am out of town and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protect and saddened that I wasn’t notified especially when I am out of town.”
In a follow-up tweet, the Angel singer revealed that she’s been battling “severe postpartum” and criticized DDG for disregarding her boundaries.
“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected,” she wrote.
“No one knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
Shortly after, Bailey went dark, seemingly disabling her X and Instagram accounts. But that didn’t stop her fans from rallying to show their support.
“Totally understandable, boundaries are important, especially during such a sensitive time. Hope they can work things out,” one fan commented.
Another wrote, “Respect her boundaries—postpartum is no joke.”

Just a few days earlier, the Color Purple star had opened up on Snapchat about having “crippling anxiety” whenever she has to leave her son, Halo, for work.
“Flying tonight to be somewhere for one day but having crippling anxiety without my son,” she wrote, adding, “Any advice for moms who still can’t handle when they have to leave for work?”
She later posted a photo of a glass of champagne, captioning it, “Maybe a little bubbly will help.”
Bailey and DDG split in early October, after nearly three years of dating.
In a statement shared to DDG’s Instagram Stories, the rapper wrote:
“Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.
He continued: “The decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we shared.”
“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other.”
