Halle Berry is making a new film!
The acclaimed actress will star and produce a psychological thriller, “The Process.”
57-year-old Berry was already tied to the film before the SAG-AFTRA strike.
According to Deadline, Tara Miele will direct, while Berry will co-produce alongside Holly Jeter under their HalleHolly label.
Karl Herrmann and Robert Kravis will also produce under Pioneer Pictures alongside Julia Sandberg Hansson.
“We are thrilled to be working with HalleHolly to bring Levin’s amazing screenplay to the screen. Tara’s vision for the film — a Kubrickian psychological thriller taking us down the rabbit hole of self-help cults, and Halle’s interpretation of the film’s lead character, Kirsa — a woman fighting to preserve her marriage and her sanity amid an oppressive cult of personality, will leave audiences breathless.” Kravis and Herman
Halle Berry’s Involvement Promises A Thrilling Film

The film focuses on a seemingly happily married couple who go on a weekend workshop led by a famous self-help expert.
They reflect on their marriage, professions, and personal lives, and tensions rise as Kirsa rejects the process.
However, spouse Peter accepts, which strains their bond.
Miele is excited about the project
“It’s so rare to find a script like Levin Menekse’s The Process that is gripping, emotionally resonant, and feels essential in this moment. I’m thrilled to get to bring this gem to life and to collaborate with Halle Berry, who brings such raw, real presence to the screen as an actress and is also an incredibly thoughtful collaborator and savvy producer.” Miele
We don’t have a release date, but The Process should be an exciting film since Halle Berry is so deeply involved.
