We have been talking about politics all night and looks like things aren’t slowing down anytime soon! After the win in the Alabama State Elections driven by the resilience of black woman, another black woman is trending this morning for not so stellar reasons.
According to the NY Post Omarosa Manigault Newman has handed in her resignation effective January 20th one year after the Trump inauguration.
Via The NY Post:
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that Manigault Newman’s resignation is effective Jan. 20, one year since Trump’s inauguration.
The decision by Manigault Newman, one of the president’s most prominent African-American supporters, comes at the start of what’s expected to be a round of departures heading into the new year.
Last week, the White House said that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave the administration early next year.
Manigault Newman, a former contestant on Trump’s reality TV show, joined Team Trump as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, working on outreach to various constituency groups.
Some news outlets are saying she got fired only time will tell, either way, good riddance!
