Jada Pinkette Smith set her account to private after posting about Women’s independence.
According to BET The “Girls Trip” actress made this decision on Monday (Sept. 2) after posting a photo with texts that read:
“A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone. And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told she MUST belong to someone or … she is not worthy.”
In the caption, Jada wrote:
“Even in some of our great religious traditions, the goddess is rendered powerless without her male counterpart. And in others, the spiritual influence of the feminine, of Mother … is not even recognized.”
She continued, “We mere mortal women are worthy simply because we exist! And those of us who have cultivated our Queendom within our inner kingdom and have a deep relationship with the Great Supreme … If we so CHOOSE to bond with someone from this space … we will erect monumental love and give birth to treasures. We need not bond in fear. You … are … greatness. Walk with that this here Monday.”
The 53-year-old’s recent Instagram move follows nearly a year after she discussed her relationship with Will Smith during an interview with PEOPLE.
In connection with the release of her memoir Worthy, she stated, “I’m going to be by his side.” Regarding their marriage, Jada noted they were “still figuring it out” and revealed they had been separated since 2016. “We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together.
We just have a deep love for each other and are working out what that means for us,” she said.

Happy-go-lucky Johnny, 61, is known for his hard-partying lifestyle, which has Jada, 52, questioning whether having her hubby cozy up to the Sleepy Hollow star is a good idea.
She may be right to worry! As a second source previously told In Touch: “Johnny’s pals fear his partying is once again catching up to him.”
“Some claim his boozing has gotten so bad that they want to stage an intervention.”
Regardless, there seems to be no slowing down for the Vampires of Hollywood rocker, even after some details of his lifestyle came to light during his courtroom battle with ex wife Amber Heard, and now the notorious Lucky Them libertine is pulling Will, 52, into the fray!
“He’s been promising to fix him up with some great summer parties and trips to Europe and introducing him to a whole new set of friends,” the first source continues.
“Will is really psyched and saying he’s going to bring Martin Lawrence along, too.”
Now we have no idea if there is any truth to what Intouch reported, all we know is, Jada is probably protecting her peace!
