While at LAX TMZ stopped the famous Judge to ask him about the divorce and how he was feeling.
He admitted that he is going through some of the “worst days” of his life.
“Not holding up very well. I will say that other men, maybe I’ll be an example for other men, cautionary tale. Don’t neglect your wife,” he said.
“Never be busy, never have too much fun beyond your wife,” Judge Mathis said.
He also said that he and his wife are in a good place and able to maintain somewhat of a friendship.
“We’re still in the same house and we’re maintaining a friendship, and I’m trying to get my wife back,” he said. “I have to show her that, though. Hopefully, I can show her while we’re there together. And hopefully, she doesn’t complete the process, but I’m changing in hopes that she will.”
He did ensure to mention that the reason for their divorce has nothing to do with infidelity or any wild allegations involving a minor.
He also said with all of the travel he was doing, he can understand why she would think he was unfaithful.
