Kanye has been on a rampage on Instagram as most of you are aware. At times, it might be his ex-wife and her family but lately, it’s mostly about his business partnerships with GAP and Addidas.
On Instagram he explained why he is fighting so hard to preserve his business and legacy, saying it’s for his children.
Some things are bigger than money My kids have no idea what daddy has gone through this past few days alone to secure the brand that will one day be handed down to them God Willing These future leaders will never back down be stolen from and forced to compromise who they are for the check.
Ye has gathered major support from people like Diddy and Pete Rock.
On instagram Diddy wrote:
Since the era of Run-DMC, @Adidas has always used Hip Hop to build its brand and make billions off of our culture. BUT WE ARE MORE THAN JUST CONSUMERS NOW, WE’RE THE OWNERS. @KanyeWest and YEEZY are the reason Adidas is relevant to culture. WE KNOW OUR VALUE! I’m done wearing Adidas products until they make this right!! We have to support each other!! Everybody repost this please!!
“Kanye Addidas” has been trending all week and people have mixed feelings.
I don’t even wear adidas but I’d never boycott any company on Kanye’s behalf. If slavery was a choice, so was signing a contract with them my boy.

Call me crazy, but kinda wild that people really think that Adidas, a brand that has been in business for nearly 100 years and made some of the best selling shoes of all time (Stan Smith, Superstar, Samba), is just gonna say, “You know what Kanye, fuck it, it’s yours.”
