Kendrick Lamar loves surprising us, what with surprise album drops and song releases.
So, I’m glad to say he hasn’t disappointed us yet.
According to Vibe, the legendary rapper has just announced a concert taking place on Juneteenth (June 19) called The Pop Out: Ken And Friends.
The Pulitzer-winning rapper revealed that the concert will take place in Inglewood, California, at the Kia Forum.
Kendrick Lamar’s Concert Tickets Are Out Now
The concert comes courtesy of K. Dot and Dave Free’s pgLang and Tim Hinshaw’s Free Lunch Agency.
The concert’s presale tickets became available on Thursday June 6 at 10 a.m. PT through the Cash App Card.
General ticket sales became available on June 7 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster.
While Kendrick hasn’t revealed if he will perform the concert alone, chances are some heavy hitters like Future will join him–he recently collaborated with Future, Metro Boomin, and Mustard.
Kendrick also has long-term friendships with labelmates like SZA, SiR, and ScHoolboy Q.
And let’s not forget all the West Coast talent from YG to Snoop Dogg.
But one artist we won’t expect to see at the concert is Drake.
While the artists haven’t released any diss tracks in the past month, you can be sure there’s still bad blood between them.
And Kendrick Lamar could rekindle the beef in a fiery way if he performs his diss track at the concert.
