Confession! I spend a lot of time combing the internet for ways to level up every day, and when I found this clip of Kevin Hart talking about the gym, I had to agree.
I am an avid fitness enthusiast these days; hot girl walks are part of my daily routine, regardless of what my day holds.
On a recent episode of VSG Entertainment, Kevin said the gym does not get enough credit for the opportunity it provides people to develop consistent and dependable habits.
The mental shift required to maintain consistency in the gym can be applied to other areas of your life.
He said:
I don’t think that people give the gym enough credit when you are talking about a mental grasp or just like a baby step of achievement every day.
The concept of waking up at a certain time, to go work on yourself you have surpassed 80% of the world… saying that I am going to get up every day at this time no matter what and this time is dedicated to me exercising to working on my self… that one mental exercise of commitment and consistency is what people struggle with the most.
People have a hard time committing and being consistent to the thing they said what they would do. Now when you lock that up and check that box now you start to see improvement. Damn.. I’m actually seeing a little bit of improvement from what I am now committing to.
