Khalid is opening up about his sexuality, even if “it ain’t nobodies business!”
The 26-year-old “Eastside” singer, who dropped his third studio album Sincere in August, confirmed he’s gay in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

In a follow-up tweet, Khalid confirmed his sexuality by replying to an X user who wrote, “Wait, I hope Mr. Khalid isn’t GEHHH!”

In a third tweet, the “Talk” singer acknowledged being outed but made it clear he’s unbothered and proud of who he is.
“I got outted [sic] and the world still continues to turn,” the NAACP award winner wrote. “Let’s get this straight (lmao) I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality it ain’t nobodies business! But I am okay with me. love yall.”

When a fan suggested he might be “closeted,” Khalid quickly clarified, “I wasn’t hiding anything! It’s just not any of your business.”

According to Page Six, Khalid’s public admission comes shortly after a fellow singer, Hugo D Almonte, took to social media to claim that:
“One of your favorite gay R&B singers suck my d-k and it was really bad.”
Almonte went on to allege.
” I was dating this dumb ass singer, he’s ugly as f**k but he tried to set me up and lie and say I broke into his house because I broke up with him like why would I go to your house and do all that if I broke up with you dumb ass!”
After an overwhelming response from netizens, some of whom guessed he was referring to Khalid, Almonte posted:
“Yáll really, really want me to blow this s**t up.”
He then uploaded a selfie with Khalid, which he captioned:
“Bitch ass lied and said I broke into his house cause I didn’t want him.”
