Kim Coles and Erika Alexander are giving Living Single fans the reunion they didn’t know they needed.
During a recent appearance on SHERRI on Thursday (May 1), Coles and Alexander announced they’re launching reLiving Single, a new weekly podcast series from Hartbeat and Color Farm Media.
The rewatch podcast, which premieres on Wednesday (May 7), is set to “offer a fresh and in-depth look at the iconic 90s show” that redefined comedy, friendship, dating, and the Black experience for a generation.
Living Single aired from 1993 to 1998 and starred Erika Alexander as quick-witted attorney Maxine, Kim Coles as bubbly aspiring actress Synclaire, Queen Latifah as her no-nonsense cousin and magazine editor Khadijah, Kim Fields as style-savvy Regine, T.C. Carson as smooth-talking stockbroker Kyle, and John Henton as lovable handyman Overton.

Since podcasts often spark reboots, host Sherri Shepherd asked whether the iconic cast might reunite on screen once again.
“I’m gonna say yes, because I think we all still look good, and that’s my very shallow reasoning,” Kim Coles, 63, joked.”
Then she got more serious.
“And because we all still love each other and there’s still a beautiful chemistry that will never die. So, I would say yes if the opportunity presented itself.”
“I think that’s a good reason for y’all to come and listen to the podcast and find out,” Alexander, 55, teased.
“We do all the behind the scenes, things that you’ve never heard and also things that we’re revealing to each other that we didn’t know at the time. So, there’s tears and joy and all the things,” Coles added.

In a statement to People about the podcast’s release, Coles said:
“Getting to relive Living Single with Erika— and with all of you — feels like opening a time capsule packed with love, laughter, and a little extra lip gloss. I can’t wait to spill the tea, share the joy, and celebrate the magic that made us all family.”
“reLiving Single is a multigenerational conversation that remains evergreen because of the love our fans have for us and the show! And they want more! So, we put together an all-star lineup to reminisce, drop life-lesson gems and give a masterclass on comedy and showbiz,” Alexander added in her statement.
“You’ll hear stories you’ve never heard before, but the best part of the rewatch series is on screen, Kim and I, like a pair of vampires, ain’t aged a day!”
reLiving Single premieres Wednesday, May 7, with new episodes released weekly on Wednesdays, on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
