Love and Marriage: Huntsville star Marsau Scott is the latest in a long line of reality TV stars to have a run-in with police.
According to Blavity, Scott was arrested Friday night in Huntsville, Alabama, for a warrant stemming from a speeding ticket.
Authorities took Scott into custody on an alias warrant for aggressive speeding.
In Alabama, an alias warrant is issued when a defendant fails to appear in court for a speeding ticket, which is usually issued when a person drives at least 25 mph over the legal speed limit.
Scott was booked into Madison County Jail on March 28 after 9 p.m. and released a few hours later after posting a $300 bond.
Alabama court records show this isn’t Scott’s first run-in with traffic violations. He has had several violations in 2008, 2009, 2018, and 2020, but this is the first time a warrant has been issued over a missing appearance.
As we mentioned earlier, this is the latest among a long line of arrests for reality TV personalities.
Just last month, Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger was sentenced to a year in prison for a DUI conviction.
Previously, Marsau’s brother, Maurice Scott, was arrested for a DUI on Memorial Day Weekend 2024. Martell Holt of Love & Marriage: Huntsville was also arrested and convicted on a Domestic Violence-Harassing Communications charge.
And let’s not forget former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah, who was sentenced to six and a half years in federal prison after being found guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.
