Marlon Wayans might have RSVP’d to plenty of Diddy’s infamous bashes, but he swears he never stuck around long enough to witness anything too wild.
During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay, the actor/comedian was asked about the notorious “Hollywood parties,” to which he admitted to attending but always made an early exit before things really kicked off.
“I’ve been to plenty Diddy parties. I left early,” Wayans revealed. “I swear to you, I’ve never seen…I’ve never seen it. I’ve never seen it.”
“Those aren’t the type of parties that I go to. I don’t frequent those type of parties and even if I go, like I said I’ve never seen any of this,” Wayans added, referencing allegations outlined in previously filed lawsuits about his parties.
“When I hear about it, ‘When did that happen? At what time did this go down? ‘Cause I was there till 3:30. You mean at 3:32…So they waiting for me to leave like, Alright, good. That Wayans n***a gone. He talk too much.”
While Wayans acknowledged seeing drugs at Hollywood parties, he revealed he’s always steered clear of any alleged wild behavior thanks to the wisdom instilled by his late parents.
“Everything that you do one day can come back to haunt you, so you got to be careful how you show up,” the comedian warned.
Diddy is currently facing a series of sexual assault lawsuits, with the first surfacing in November 2023. As the claims continue to unfold, more people have shared their own experiences at his infamous parties, some even alleging that Diddy has tapes of celebrities caught in compromising situations.
50 Cent, who insists he’s not featured on any of Diddy’s alleged “tapes,” is currently developing a Netflix docuseries tentatively titled Diddy Do It? that will explore the entire Diddy controversy.
“I’m the only person in hip-hop culture that has produced any hit television. Why wouldn’t I be the person to produce it?” he said in an interview with US Weekly.
“And I’m not on the tapes. See, some of the people who have been around in the culture who are not saying anything—that’s because they’ve been to the parties, [and] they don’t know what part of their experiences are on tape.”
“So it keeps them quiet, and it looks like I’m the only guy, but I’ve been [saying] for years that something’s not right,” the rapper/TV producer added.
