Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are officially engaged!
The couple, who have been dating for over a year, shared the exciting news while attending the EBONY Power 100 Gala on Sunday evening (November 17).
“We’re feeling great,” Good told People, flashing her dazzling diamond ring.
“It’s a season of joy,” Majors added with a smile.
Good chimed in, “It’s a season of all the good things,” while Majors agreed, saying, “Amen.”
In a separate conversation with EBONY Magazine, Majors praised the “Divorce in the Black” actress, calling her the most “divine and powerful being” he’s ever met.
“Life is crazy—I’m crying to you—she is the most perfect, beautiful, divine, and powerful being that I’ve ever met,” the Creed III star said of his fiancée. “The fact that she said, ‘I’m gonna run with you,’ I’m with it. I feel great.”
The announcement was especially meaningful, as the couple chose the EBONY event to mark the milestone because it’s where they first met two years ago.
“EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom,” she recalled.

Good, 43, and Majors, 35, began dating in May 2023, just two months after the Lovecraft Country actor was arrested over an alleged domestic dispute with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
Majors, who has maintained his innocence, was found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment in December. He was sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program and a $250 fine in April.
Despite public backlash and criticism for supporting Majors during his legal battles, Good stood by his side, accompanying him to multiple court appearances in New York City.
When asked about the backlash, Good said:
“I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life. I’m the one who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did. So, I want to be responsible for the choices that I make. I also want to live the life that I want to live.”
Speaking further to E! News, Good shared her love and admiration for Majors, calling him “the one.”
“I love his style. I just love how he puts it together,” she gushed.
Reflecting on their relationship, Good added:
“The support we’ve been able to give to each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care, and the thoughtfulness,” Good later added, “it’s been really wonderful.”
Good was previously married to producer DeVon Franklin from 2012-2022.
