Megan says her glow is due to “getting rid of all the “f*ckboys”” in her life and we all know that a stress-free life can hit way different on our skin and hair.
4 Quick Tips on how to maintain your quarantine glow
The truth is so many of us are in quarantine trying to remain stress-free, make up free and extensions free, and if you are in that space, here are a few tips you can use to remain as natural as possible during the quarantine.
1. Drink lots of water
The key to clear skin and s stress-free life will always be water. Drink at least 64 ounces of water per day, you will start to see a difference are just a few days.
2. Use up all your oils and butters on your hair
We have been investing heavily in our local indie shops that create clean beauty products like, natural oils, and butters and you should too.
If there is a time to truly focus on nourishing your scalp and hair, this would be it. Find a local shop online or shop with your favorite small business on Instagram shop.
3. Invest in your skin
To avoid wearing a ton of makeup daily, especially on days you do not have to, invest time in your skin. Selfcare helps to reduce stress and increase ‘feel good’ moments daily. So take your time and nourish your skin!
4. Wrap your hair when it’s straight
If your hair happens to be straight like Megan’s, do not forget to wrap it at night. Nothing like an ole school wrap and pin before bed.
Try not to add product to your straight hair especially if you deep conditioned and added moisture prior to flat ironing your hair, wrapping it will suffice.
