Metro Boomin, born Leland Tyler Wayne, is facing a new lawsuit after a woman accused him of allegedly assaulting and impregnating her in 2016.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, a woman named Vanessa LeMaistre, filed a lawsuit against the Grammy-winning super-producer, who claims he sexually assaulted her during a studio session in 2016.
In the lawsuit, Maistre alleges she was suffering from depression after the death of her nine-month-old son at the time, but hit it off with Boomin during a getaway trip to Vegas in the spring of 2016.
She further claims that the 31-year-old invited her to his studio in Los Angeles, where she observed Boomin abusing codeine, even as his friends warned him against it.
In a later visit at his studio in September, LeMaistre claims she took half a Xanax pill and a shot of alcohol to cope with the depression and then blacked out on the couch.
Upon regaining consciousness, LeMaistre claims Boomin was on top of her, allegedly “raping her and performing oral sex on her.” She blacked out again and awoke to the rapper telling her she was in a Beverly Hills hotel room and that it was time to leave.
According to the suit, LeMaistre has no memory of how she ended up there.
Later, LeMaistre alleges she learned she was pregnant and claims it had to be from the Creepin’ artist because she hadn’t had intercourse with anyone else. LeMaistre allegedly terminated the pregnancy in November 2016.
According to the suit, LeMaistre also believes Boomin’ made light of her trauma the following year on his “Rap Saved Me” track featuring 21 Savage and Offset.
She specifically quoted the lyrics: “She took a Xanny/ The she fainted/ I’m from the gutter…ain’t no changing.”
LeMaistre is seeking unspecified damages for mental pain and anguish plus punitive damages.
“This is a pure shakedown. These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now,” Boomin’s attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, told TMZ of the lawsuit.
“Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”
