Isabella Strahan, the daughter of TV host and former NFL player Michael Strahan, has announced she is officially cancer-free.
According to Complex, the 19-year-old made the announcement in a vlog she titled “Goodbye Hospital.”
Last October, Strahan was diagnosed with a rare type of brain cancer called medulloblastoma.
The freshman at the University of Southern California received treatment at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Strahan shared the good news around the 2:50 mark of the vlog, saying:
“Everything was clear. Cancer-free and everything is great. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October.”
Strahan also gave a shout-out to her doctors.
“I miss my doctors already and everyone who’s helped me because they’re all so nice.”
She added:
“I feel like I’m just saddened today, knowing that I wasn’t gonna be going back for a while, because I love them so much. So, that was my last hospital vlog until October!”
Strahan shared her brain cancer diagnosis on a Good Morning America episode early this year.
Today my daughter @IsabellaStrahan joined @RobinRoberts and myself for an interview about the journey she has been going through on @GMA. ❤️❤️❤️
I love you Isabella and I’m always by your side. To all sending love, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

She revealed undergoing a distressing medical episode only a few months before.
The teenager initially thought she had experienced vertigo in early October because of dizziness, nausea, and headaches.
However, her condition worsened later that month.
Doctors examined Strahan and found a tumor in the back of her brain.
One day before her October 28 birthday, Isabella Strahan had surgery.
