What’s life without balance right? Earlier today we shared a post that shared threads of women telling their stories about how they knew their man hated them. It was a doozy and hard to read!
As the Universe would have it, one Twitter user decided to turn things around posing the question, “when did you realize he loved you?” In an effort to get some positive stories going.
when did you realize he loved you? let’s get some positive stories going

Afroflytina made it clear that this in no way diminishes the experiences of women who are maltreated but this was her way to celebrate love and light.
see below
Under no circumstances was this to minimize the maltreatment women have been tweeting about on that other tweet. This is just to celebrate love/light.. there’s enough negativity on the innanet.

We were on our second date/first official one. He came down to NYC to visit and when it came time to pay for the meal I did the fake dive towards my wallet. He stopped me and said, “if you’re going to be my girl I have to pay for you.” That was 11 years ago. Happily married now.
