It has been just nine days but the new host of Jeopardy is already making an exit after he was ‘chosen’ to succeed Alex Trebek.
Allegedly Mike is part of a growing controversy over sexist comments he made on his podcast according to a report from The Ringer.
This was the announcement made on Twitter:

According to WGN9 News
Sony Pictures Television also said Richards would remain as the show’s executive producer.
“Mike has been with us for the last two years and has led the ‘Jeopardy!’ team through the most challenging time the show has ever experienced.
It is our hope that as EP he will continue to do so with professionalism and respect,” Sony said.
A poll found that Jeopardy fans wanted LeVar Burton, to host the show but he lost due to ‘poor ratings’.
We aren’t sure if he will next in line for the position, but Twitter is already gunning for his appointment.
The executive producer of Jeopardy staged a scam “tryout” for different hosts of the show to replace Alex Trebek and then just appointed himself anyway. And now some offensive comments of his have resurfaced and he had to quit. We could have had Levar Burton. ?

and
Mr. Burton, I was rooting for you as host. My husband, daughter, and I have all been on the show and having the right host means a lot to us.
If you get invited to host again, I have an idea which might help you be more comfortable.

His last tweet was simply a wish for everyone to have a “happy Friday” but everyone is reading between the lines on that one.
Happy Friday, y’all!

Now here come Dictionary.com with their petty tweet:
"Jeopardy" is a noun meaning "peril or danger." Here it is in a sentence:
"My job is in jeopardy because of my past comments."https://t.co/E7xeeNTN4g
