Ime Udoka, Boston Celtics’ coach, is all over the NBA headlines, but for not the reasons you’d expect.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the American Basketball Team coach is facing disciplinary action from the team after being alleged to be having an affair with a female staffer.

Full details of the allegation are yet to be made public, but it is believed that this could land him a suspension. However, some sources have reported that the relationship is considered a violation of the team’s guidelines, and a decision on the length of the suspension is expected to come today (Thursday, Sept 22, 2022).
And while no final decision has been made, internal deliberations have included scenarios that would suspend Udoka for the entirety of the 2022-23 season.
As for his relationship with Nia Long, Ime might be in the doghouse for a while.
The pair has been together since 2010 after a mutual friend set them up. The couple got engaged in 2015 after dating for some years, but they’re not married yet, as they have very different takes on it.
Nia has yet to comment or release a statement concerning the current Udoka scandal. For now, the Fatal Attraction star only has this cryptic post for social media sleuths to dissect.
“I think what it means is stay in your course because it’s going to happen when it’s supposed to happen,” she added. “It doesn’t happen for everyone at the same time, so you can’t compare your life to someone else’s, “she wrote.
