Our beloved Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital after experiencing a “medical complication” while filming Netflix’s “Back In Action” three weeks ago.
As his health status remains uncertain, guest hosts Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne will step in for Foxx on the upcoming “Beat Shazam” season.
Nick Cannon Has Big Shoes To Fill
According to TMZ, a direct source revealed that the actor will not be on this season of the show.
While we don’t know when Foxx will be released, production for the music game show must continue without him and his daughter Corinne who usually co-hosts alongside him.
We don’t know what happened to Foxx, but insiders have asked for prayers for the 55-year-old star.
Last week, a source revealed that he was OK and “awake and alert.”
However, doctors were still keeping him under observation.
We All Wish Jamie Foxx A Speedy Recovery
Many of Foxx’s famous friends have sent well wishes for his recovery, including:
- Viola Davis
- Kerry Washington
- Martin Lawrence
- Lebron James
Martin Lawrence even mentioned Foxx during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
“My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him: one of the best that we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers but a good person.”
The incident happened on April 11 as Foxx was in Atlanta filming Back In Action.
However, he wasn’t on set.
Production for the film continued with a stunt double filling in for the actor.
Foxx’s daughter Corinne broke the news of his medical complication on April 12.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.”
We’re sending all our love and positive vibes to Jamie Foxx for a speedy recovery!
