Nick Cannon, the popular actor and host of the “Masked Singer”, has never been one to shy away from a little banter.
So, when his co-host on the “Daily Cannon Show,” Courtney Bee Bledsoe, jokingly accused him of “fumbling” his ex-wife Mariah Carey, he was quick to respond.
“Did I? Explain to me how I fumbled Mariah.”
Of course, Courtney was just playing around, but Nick wouldn’t let her get the best of him.

According to PageSix, when she mentioned that Nick fumbled because he wasn’t with Mariah anymore, he fired back.
“Maybe she fumbled me.”
But the conversation didn’t end there.
When Nick tried to defend himself by saying he was there for Mariah during their marriage, Courtney had the perfect comeback.
“You didn’t make ‘Always Be My Baby’ so … it’s a little different.”
Did Nick Cannon Really Fumble?

Nick Cannon and Mariah started dating in 2008 and got married later that same year.
In 2011, the couple welcomed twins, a son, Moroccan, and a daughter Monroe.
Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last, and the couple separated in 2014, with Mariah filing for divorce months later.
The divorce was finalized in 2016, and they share joint custody of their twins.
Since their split, Nick has expanded his family with ten more children from five women.
He has a son named Golden, a daughter named Powerful, and a son named Rise with Brittany Bell.
He also has twin sons, Zion and Zillion, and a daughter named Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa.
Nick and Alyssa Scott tragically lost their 5-month-old son, Zen, to brain cancer, but welcomed a rainbow baby named Halo in December 2022.
Nick is also the father of a son named Legendary with Bre Tiesi and a daughter named Onyx with LaNisha Cole.
Even though Nick Cannon has moved on and started new families, he still looks back on his relationship with Mariah fondly.

In fact, he recently predicted to “Hottee Talk Show Podcast” listeners that he will never “have a love” like he had with the songwriter again.
He even referred to Mariah as the “coolest person [he’s] ever met.”
“She’s a gift from God. … She’s just always happy, always doing for others.”
Overall, it’s clear that Nick Cannon isn’t one to be taken down easily, even in a playful conversation about his past marriage.
While he’s moved on and started new families, he still holds a special place in his heart for Mariah and their time together.
