Real Housewives of Atlanta royalty Porsha Williams just scored another massive win in her messy split from ex-husband Simon Guobadia, and sis is clearly not playing with her peace, or her prenup.
According to court docs, a Fulton County judge has officially upheld Porsha’s prenuptial agreement. That means Simon’s arguments that the prenup should be scrapped (claiming she misled him about returning to RHOA and her career path) didn’t fly.
In the docs he said:
“[Williams] failed to disclose that she would return to her employment on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a cast member,” the docs read. “Instead of disclosing this material fact, the Wife made it very clear to [Guobadia] (and the public) that she was leaving the television show and not returning. [Guobadia] relied on the representations — or misrepresentations — [Williams] made to him during their engagement, the negotiation phase, and at the time that the parties signed the Prenuptial Agreement.”
According to US weekly he also claimed
That if it were not for Williams’ “misrepresentations” about leaving RHOA, he would not have agreed to a prenup that, “requires him to pay a substantial financial obligation to [Williams] totaling over hundreds of thousands of dollars and terms that require him to split the equity of his $7,000,000 million pre-marital home (the Marital Residence) with [Williams], and pay significant debts and expenses for the Wife’s benefit.”
The judge found the agreement was fair and made with full knowledge on both sides—rendering Simon’s claims a no-go.
As for Porsha she said she was offered a job that would help her “offset the numerous financial obligations that [Guobadia] has failed to maintain under the Temporary Order, as well as to offset the significant legal expenses [Williams] has already incurred in pursuing enforcement of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement and defending herself against [Guobadia] as it relates to the instant divorce action.”
Her lawyer added, “[Williams] shows that her request for virtual appearance is made in good faith and reflects a balancing of her professional obligations and the serious nature of these proceedings, not a desire to delay or further complicate the instant litigation.”
This legal win comes on the heels of a previous decision granting Porsha exclusive possession of their marital home.
She also won the right to continue filming there for Real Housewives of Atlanta, which Simon had tried to block—a bold move that matters big time for her career
But it’s not just courtroom drama.
Simon has filed a separate lawsuit accusing Porsha of defamation, alleging that she spread rumors about him having erectile dysfunction on social media—which he says has damaged his reputation.
He’s suing for $75,000.
