According to the SR Princess Love is addressing the situation after Ray J filmed himself talking to their kids following an alleged incident between the estranged couple.
Ray J and Princess currently co-parent two children: their daughter, Melody, and son, Epik. In a video recorded by Live Bitez, Ray J can be seen reassuring their four-year-old son, Epik, that there is still love between him and Princess despite their differences. The live stream mainly shows the ceiling of Princess Love’s home, with only a brief glimpse of Epik.
During the recording, Ray J asks his son about his memory of the alleged incident, which he suggests was a verbal disagreement.
“I just want to make sure, are you good? Dada never did nothing to anybody right? Mama never did nothing to me, Dada didn’t do nothing to mama right? Everything’s safe,” Ray J said as one of their kids responds to verbal agreeance sounds.
Ray J also asked Epik to confirm that neither he nor Princess Love became physical during their disagreement. “We’re just making a movie; we’re just playing,” Ray reassured.
Epik then asked if he could go to Ray’s home, and Ray instructed him to grab a sweater so they could leave. As Epik put on his sweater, Ray’s six-year-old daughter, Melody, could be heard in the background asking if he was leaving.
When Ray J responded that he had to go, Melody’s voice cracked, and she seemingly began to cry.
“Everything’s okay. I just wanna make sure everything is safe. I love your mom, your mom loves me,” Ray responded to Melody.
“Just ’cause someone has a disagreement, it doesn’t mean anything. Calling the police over a disagreement is loud, and I’m not with that. Okay? I love you. Your mom loves you. Did you check on your mom?”
One of the kids later suggested that Ray J give Princess Love a hug to improve the situation, but he told the child he wasn’t sure if Princess would want it.
He then encouraged the children to go ask her about the hug, but one of the kids mentioned that Princess had asked to be left alone.

In response, Ray J reassured the child that Princess was still “a great mom” and was “just mad.” Eventually, one of the kids returned and told Ray J that Princess Love would accept his hug.
With all that said Princess did not take too kindly to Ray J’s social media post featuring their children.
On Instagram she accused Ray J of gaslighting their children because he could no longer do it to her.
“I’ve been trying my best to be the bigger person and just walk away peacefully. But what you’re not going to do is traumatize, manipulate, and gaslight my kids when you can’t do it to me anymore. I’ll save my videos for the judge,” Princess wrote.
