In a startling revelation, R. Kelly has voiced his fear of dying due to alleged negligence from the medical staff at the prison where he is serving his 30-year sentence for sex trafficking.
According to Vibe, the singer expressed his dismay, comparing his treatment to that given to animals.
He accused the medical staff at Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Center of mishandling his recent operation to address blood clots.
“I’m not supposed to die this way. You’re not even supposed to take a chance on that.”

Kelly passionately appealed to the listeners, urging them to imagine how they would react if their loved ones were facing similar circumstances.
He questioned whether they would insist on seeking medical attention and emphasized the importance of proper care.
Back in March, Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, criticized the medical staff at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago for their negligent treatment of her client.
She emphasized that every prisoner deserves proper medical attention and care, and the lack of assistance from the MCC is unacceptable.
Bonjean highlighted that the MCC is responsible for addressing these matters competently, not just because it involves R. Kelly but because it affects every individual in their care.
